The ufdbGuard Query Server is a daemon that serves clients like smartphones and small appliances that are too small to hold the URL database itself.  On a relatively simple server CPU with 12 threads, the Query Server is able to serve millions of clients simultaneously and reply to URL classification request from clients.  The Query Server daemons can be used behind a load balancer to scale out.

The ufdbGuard Query Server is a licensed product that is only available for partners of URLfilterDB.  License fees are different from the fees for ufdbGuard for Squid and very attractive.  Contact us to find out if we can become partners.
